Every year, many people make New Year’s resolutions to exercise more and deepen their faith. This year, why not do both at the same time? Join us for our 2025 Walk and Worship Challenge!

From January 2nd to January 31st, we encourage you to combine physical activity with spiritual reflection. Whether you’re strolling through a park while listening to a sermon, hiking a trail while praying, or simply taking a mindful walk while contemplating scripture, this is a chance to connect with God and improve your well-being.

Track your walks, share your experiences, and encourage one another throughout the month. Let’s make 2025 a year of physical and spiritual growth!

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Register: Sign up online
  2. Commit to walking for at least 30 minutes each day for 30 days without missing a day
  3. Post daily in our Walk & Worship GroupMe to stay connected and share your progress.
  4. Record your time and distance walked each day.
  5. Share takeaways from sermons, prayers, or praise reports in your daily posts.
  6. Submit your daily results by midnight (11:59 local time) to qualify for the challenge.
  7. Treadmills are permitted & equated at a 1-to-1 ratio (1 mile on the treadmill = 1 mile)
  8. Celebrate with us! Those who post their results every day for 30 days will be acknowledged in the group and qualify for FINISHER prize.
  9. Keep moving! This challenge is about more than just reaching a goal. It’s about deepening your faith, improving your well-being, and connecting with your community.
